THAT this Council bring forward report 11.1 - DEV-2024-029 - Request for Township Endorsement of Minister Zoning Order - Avenu Properties Corp. (Castle Harbour Drive - Part Lots 19 and 20, Concession 7, Geographic Township of Scugog)

THAT this Council moves to suspend the rules of procedure to allow the meeting to extend for 30 minutes.

THAT the presentation by Paul Lowes MCIP RPP, SGL Planning Consultants, on behalf of the Township regarding the Request for Township Endorsement of Minister Zoning Order - Avenu Properties Corp., be received.

THAT a deferral until November 18, 2024, be granted to see if a proposal can be put together; to address outstanding questions and to see if the parties can come to an understanding; THAT the process include Township Staff and two member of Council, and Avenu; and THAT the process include an Indigenous consultation component.

T HAT Report DEV-2024-29 Request for Township Endorsement of Minister Zoning Order (MZO) – Avenu Properties Corp. (Castle Harbour Drive) - Part Lots 19 and 20, Concession 7, Geographic Township of Reach Report Title, be received; and THAT Council deny the MZO by Avenu Properties Corp., and that the proposed development proceeds through a municipal planning process.
