Council Meeting

THAT this Council enter into a closed session to discuss a litigation matter pursuant to Sections 239(2)(e) and 239(2)(f) of the Municipal Act, 2001 to discuss litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the Township, and to receive advice subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; and THAT this Council enter into a closed session to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal employees pursuant to Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act, 2001, regarding SADIE Committee Recruitment and Appointment.

THAT this Council rise from Closed Session.

THAT Council recess for 10 minutes

THAT the delegation by Christine Vos, Oak Ridges Hospice, regarding request of support for Hockey Night in Port Perry Charity Hockey event, be received; and THAT the fees for the rental of the Scugog Community Recreation Centre and Ice Pad 1 be waived for this event.

THAT the items listed under Section 10, Adoption of Minutes of Previous Meetings, Reports, Correspondence and By-Laws, all be approved and passed under Consent Agenda, save and except items 10.1.6, 10.4.1 and 10.4.3.

THAT the Minutes of the Special Council Meeting held September 15, 2025, be adopted.

THAT the Minutes of the Council Meeting held September 22, 2025, be adopted.

THAT the Planning and Community Affairs Committee Meeting held September 15, 2025, be adopted.

THAT the General Purpose and Administrative Committee Minutes held October 6, 2025, be adopted.

THAT the Minutes of the Scugog Heritage Advisory Committee Meeting held October 7, 2025, be received for information.

THAT the Memo regarding the request for funding support for the North Durham Chamber of Commerce be received for information.

THAT the correspondence from Twin Erin Farms, regarding the Draft Plan of Subdivision, be received for information.

THAT By-Law 42-25 be read and passed this 27 day of October, 2025, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.

THAT By-Law 44-25 be read and passed this 27 day of October, 2025, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.

THAT By-Law 45-25 be read and passed this 27 day of October, 2025, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.

THAT the Minutes of the Port Perry Business Improvement Association (BIA) Meeting held September 11, 2025, be received for information.

THAT By-Law 41-25 be read and passed this 27 day of October, 2025, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.

THAT By-Law 43-25 be read and passed this 27 day of October, 2025, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.

THAT By-Law 46-25 confirming the proceedings of the regular meeting of Council held Monday, October 27, 2025, be read and passed this 27 day of October, 2025, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.
