T HAT Report FIN-2024-011, 2024 Final Tax Levy and By-Law, be received; T HAT the Manager of Tax and Revenue be directed to prepare the Final Tax Bills; and THAT the 2024 Final Levy By-Law be adopted.

T HAT Report FIN-2024-018, 2024 Development Charges By-Law be received; THAT Council intends to ensure that the increase in the need for services attributable to the anticipated development will be met; That no further public meetings were required under section 12 of the Development Charges Act; THAT the future excess capacity identified in the Development Charges Background Study dated February 22, 2024 shall be paid for by the development charges contemplated in the said Development Charge Background Study, or other similar charges; and T HAT the final 2024 Development Charges by-Law be approved.

THAT By-Law 15-24 be read and passed this 29 th day of April, 2024, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.

THAT By-Law 16-24 be read and passed this 24 day of April, 2024, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.

THAT the Minutes of the Scugog Memorial Public Library Board Meeting held February 15, 2024 be received for information.

THAT the Minutes of the Scugog Environmental and Climate Change Advisory Committee Meeting held March 20, 2024 be received for information.

THAT the Minutes of the Scugog Heritage Advisory Committee Meeting held April 2, 2024 be received for information, save and except; THAT the Heritage Advisory Committee approves the application submitted by Dan Stone for the property located at 176 Perry Street, to remove the existing door, frame, and side lite and replace it with a more sympathetic door using modern materials; AND THAT this committee ask that Council approve this 2024 Heritage Grant for $4,061.82.

THAT the Minutes of the Scugog Tourism Advisory Committee Meeting held April 11, 2024 be received for information.

THAT the Minutes of the Healthy Lake Scugog Steering Committee Meeting held April 16, 2024 be received for information.

THAT the Minutes of the Port Perry Business Improvement Area Board Meeting held March 20, 2024 be received for information.

THAT the Minutes of the Port Perry Business Improvement Area Board Meeting held April 10, 2024 be received for information, save and except;

T HAT Report FIRE-2024-002, Amendment to Fire Department Establishing and Regulating By-Law 29-19, be received; and THAT By-Law 29-19 be amended to insert a definition for Duty Captain and to identify this position’s role in the absence of the Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief.

THAT By-Law 19-24 be read and passed this 29 th day of April, 2024, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.

THAT By-Law 20-24 confirming the proceedings of the regular meeting of Council held Monday, April 29, 2024, be read and passed this 29 th day of April, 2024, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.
