Special Council Meeting

1. THAT Report PWIS-2022-030, Greenbank Pedestrian Signals – Construction Agreement, be received; 2. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to enter into a Construction Agreement between the Corporation of the Township of Scugog and Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Ontario, represented by the Minister of Transportation for the Province of Ontario for the installation of a pedestrian crossing signal on Highway 7/12 at Cragg Road, Greenbank, in the amount of $284,050.00 (excluding HST); and Special Council Meeting – August 18, 2022 3. THAT additional funding of $88,501.74 be allocated to Capital Account No. 2235, from the Roads Levy Reserve.

1. THAT Report PWIS-2022-031, S2022-15 Balsam Street Reconstruction - Contract Award, be received; 2. THAT the contract for S2022-15 Balsam Street Reconstruction, in the amount of $1,493,120.49 (excluding HST), be awarded to Nick Carchidi Excavating Limited; and 3. THAT additional funding of $140,177.83 be allocated to Capital Account No. 2245, from the Canada Community Building Fund Reserve Fund.

THAT By-Law 47-22 confirming the proceedings of the special meeting of Council held Thursday, August 18, 2022, be read a First, Second, and Third time and finally passed this 18th day of August, 2022, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.

THAT this meeting be adjourned.
