Special Council Meeting

THAT this Council enter into a closed session at 5:07PM: To discuss advise that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose, pursuant to Section 239(2)(f) of the Municipal Act, 2001, to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal employees pursuant to Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act, and to discuss labour relations or employee negotiations pursuant to Section 239(2)(d) of the Municipal Act, 2001, with respect to the Township of Scugog COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.

THAT Council rise from Closed Session at 6:27PM.

THAT Report CONF-2021-010 COVID-19 Vaccination Policy Implementation, be received; and THAT the advice received from legal counsel regarding the Township of Scugog COVID-19 Vaccination Policy be incorporated into the policy.

1. THAT Report CORP-2021-033, Early 2022 Capital Project Approval and Sole Sourcing – Project No. FSE001, Pumper Truck Replacement P61, be received; 2. THAT Council grant early approval of 2022 Capital Project No. FSE001, Pumper Truck Replacement P61; 3. THAT Council authorize a sole source purchase of a Pumper Truck to Dependable Truck and Tank Limited at a cost of $380,000; and 4. THAT Council authorize up to $120,000 for the required modifications and equipment required for the pumper truck.

THAT By-law 55-21 confirming the proceedings of the Regular Council meeting held Monday, November 8, 2021, be read a First, Second, and Third time and finally passed this 8th day of November, 2021, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to sign same and affix the Corporate seal thereto.
