Economic Development Advisory Committee

That the minutes of the Economic Development Advisory Committee meeting held June 2, 2023 be approved

That Durham Region Transit be requested to provide a presentation on transit services for Scugog and North Durham at the January 12, 2024 EDAC meeting

1. That Council recommend planning staff to work with the Region to explore and identify opportunities to accelerate zoning policy changes that would help support On Farm Diversified Use (OFDU) and agri- tourism opportunities within Scugog, in advance of an Official Plan review; 2. And That Council and Planning Staff undertake specific training offered by the Ontario Federation of Agriculture, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and other organizations regarding OFDU best practices.

That the Township of Scugog Economic Development Advisory Committee meeting dates for 2024 include: January 12, March 1, May 3, June 7, September 13 and November 1, 2024 scheduled for 9:00 am.

That $5,000.00 be requested for the 2024 Economic Development Advisory Committee Budget.

That a standing item be added to the Economic Development Advisory Committee Agenda for Business Updates / Changes.

That the meeting be adjourned.
