THAT the Minutes of the 3rd Regular Meeting of the Scugog Heritage Advisory Committee held March 4, 2025 be adopted as circulated.

Whereas the Heritage Advisory Committee supports the property owners request to designate their property located at 14594 Old Simcoe Road, Port Perry; and Whereas the Heritage Advisory Committee recommends that Council approve the attached Heritage Value Statement; and Whereas the Heritage Advisory Committee recommends that Council approve the request to designate the property located at 14594 Old Simcoe Road, Port Perry under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act; and Scugog Heritage Advisory Committee Meeting # 4 April 1, 2025 Therefore it be resolved: THAT Staff be authorized to prepare the Notice of Intent to Designate for 14594 Old Simcoe Road, Port Perry under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act; and THAT if no objections are received, and designation is in effect, that the Heritage Advisory Committee design, prepare and fund a Heritage Designation Plaque that is gifted to the property owners.
