Community Grants Committee

Scugog Grants Advisory Committee Meeting #3 June 19, 2023 THAT the Minutes of the 1st Regular Meeting of the Community Grants Advisory Committee held March 20, 2023 be adopted as circulated.

THAT the Community Grants Committee provide the Port Perry Rotary Club with a $500.00 grant to assist the cost of the Latcham Centre rental fee for their Port Perry Pedals event on September 10, 2023.

Scugog Grants Advisory Committee Meeting #3 June 19, 2023 THAT the Community Grants Committee provide the Scugog Council for the Arts with a $1,000.00 grant to assist with the cost of hosting the Culture Days Event starting on September 22 to October 15, 2023.

THAT the Community Grants Committee provide the Lake Scugog Regatta Association with a $1,000.00 grant to assist with the cost of hosting the Caesarea Regatta event from August 4 to August 6, 2023.

THAT the Community Grants Committee deny the grant request from the Port Perry Lawn Bowling Club as the application was submitted past the deadline and therefore does not meet the criteria set out in the Grant Policy; AND THAT a letter and a copy of the Grant Policy be sent to the applicant for their information.

THAT the Community Grants Committee provide Community Care Durham with a $1,000.00 grant to assist with the cost of hosting the Kilometers for CCD event from September 23-30, 2023.

THAT this meeting be adjourned.
