1. That Report CORP-2021-009, Declaring the Office of Councillor Ward 3 Vacant, be received; and 2. That pursuant to Section 262(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, the Council of the Township of Scugog declares the Office of the Councillor Ward 3 to be vacant.

That Report CORP-2021-010, Filling the Vacancy of the Office of Councillor – Ward 3, be received detailing the 3 options by which the vacancy can be filled; Special Council Meeting, June 30, 2021 2. That the Office of Councillor – Ward 3 vacancy be filled as per Option 1 – Appointment Through an Open Call for Qualified Applicants; 3. That the process outlined in the staff report regarding Option 1 be approved including the Selection Process Procedure as contained in Attachment No. 2; and 4. That the Clerk be provided the authority to make any changes to the process as necessary.
